The range
From orchard to plate, we control every step
On one side, fresh fruit to bite into; on the other, an organic grocery range: purées, compotes, jams and jellies, still or sparkling fruit juices, and cider vinegars.
At CÔTEAUX NANTAIS, everything is controlled from start to finish: we grow our orchards biodynamically, we sort and pack the fruit at our own packing station, then process it in our own factory. Some of the fruit comes from our orchards, the rest from partner orchards that are organic too.
With CÔTEAUX NANTAIS, you rediscover the true taste of fruit.
-
The orchard
105 hectares of orchards grown biodynamically, complemented by partner orchards.
-
The packing station
In Vertou, the fruit is sorted, graded and packed with care.
-
The factory
In Remouillé, 7,000 m² devoted to processing: purées, compotes, jams, juices, ciders and vinegars.
-
Your plate
Short recipes, real flavour, and an organic grocery range of quality at a fair price.

How to enjoy them?
Bite into them, cook with them or bake with them, depending on your mood, the season and the qualities of each variety!
And what do they taste like?
To preserve the flavour of our apples and let them give their best, we choose varieties according to the season.
Tangy, crunchy, mellow, juicy, sweet or tender: each one has its own character.

Fresh fruit
Class I fruit, for eating raw, straight from our biodynamic orchards. We offer a wide variety of apples, chosen for their flavour and texture.

Compotes, fruit purées and jams
CÔTEAUX NANTAIS favours a blend of varieties and works with whole fruit, cooked slowly to preserve flavour, texture and aroma.
-
Fruit purées
Organic fruit picked at full ripeness, with no added sugar, additives or preservatives.
-
Compotes
Organic fruit gently cooked in short, indulgent recipes.
-
Jams and jellies
65% fruit, organic cane sugar and carefully controlled cooking to preserve the aromas and give a generous texture.
Juices

-
Pure fruit juice
Made from second-class apples, 100% pressed fruit, with no added sugar. Around fifteen flavours, from the most classic to the most original, combining apple with pineapple, grapefruit, ginger, mango and even lychee!
-
Nectars
Fruit purées with a touch of cane sugar and water for a smooth, indulgent, velvety texture. Here, strawberries and apricots, organic of course, really shine.
-
Sparkling fruit juices
100% pressed fruit, apple-based, alcohol-free with no added sugar. Fresh and fizzy, for adults and children alike! Many flavours are in the catalogue: apple-blackcurrant, apple-passion fruit, apple-raspberry, apple-blueberry and more.
-
Ciders
Made from carefully selected organic apples, our ciders undergo a slow natural fermentation that develops their aromas and a gentle sparkle. Dry or sweet, there is a cider for everyone.
Cider vinegars
Made from carefully selected organic apples, partly from our own orchards, our unpasteurised cider vinegars owe their distinctive flavour to know-how controlled from start to finish, from the orchard to the vat.
It all begins with a cider of character. Then acetic fermentation lets the vinegar mother slowly turn the alcohol into vinegar. A skilled process, with no shortcuts and no pasteurisation: it is this patience, and the watchful eye of our teams, that gives the apples the chance to release all their aromas.
Some are Demeter-certified. Among the original flavours we offer: shallot and ginger-turmeric.

The lab
In the CÔTEAUX NANTAIS kitchen, recipes “even better than home-made”
CÔTEAUX NANTAIS has a laboratory dedicated to creating its recipes. Here we imagine, explore and test new flavours and blends, to the delight of your taste buds.
-

Step 01
The idea
At the origin of a new recipe, sometimes an idea, sometimes the flavour of a fruit that particularly charms us, sometimes the culinary trends of the moment.
-

Step 02
The ingredients
Next comes the search for quality ingredients, either from our long-standing partners or from new orchards – always organic – that will allow us to run our tests and perfect a recipe.
-

Step 03
The standards
Pleasure of taste, quality of products, demanding processes and respect for living things shape every stage and every new creation.
